Kara Kavensky is President of Absolutely Consulting, Inc. She is a professional writer, storyteller, and serial entrepreneur, with a focus upon economic development. She contracts with companies and organizations to create impactful and effective storytelling for businesses. Kara is very well-connected and a great resource for tech, capital raises, and marketing. John McDonald, Co-Founder

John McDonald is the CEO of ClearObject, Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing IT company in Indiana for 2014, 2015 and 2016, and winner of the 2016 Entrepreneur Magazine 360, the 2016 Deloitte Fast 500 in Technology, the 2016 CRN Next-Gen 250 and 2015 and 2016 IBM Beacon Awards, the highest honor given to a business partner.

Ken Miller, Co-Founder
Managing partner for Soldalis, Ken Miller assists organizations in the design and operation of sustainable innovation programs which deliver new products, cultural change, and engage in corporate venture partnerships. Ken is currently a board member for the Venture Club
of Indiana and is a member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Technology and Innovation Council. This year, as a co-chair for inX3, he enjoys bringing the attention of the national venture capital community to the rising talent in Indiana.
As a former Partner with Indianapolis-based DeveloperTown, he led the Enterprise Innovation practice, which focused upon new product development for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to DeveloperTown, Miller worked with MISO power grid operations where he developed multiple mission critical facilities; oversaw the application lifecycle management for software controlling the real-time power grid operations; and compliance and operation of the wholesale market for $26B annually in power transactions.
Mr. Miller began his career in communications by developing assembly drivers for multi-protocol LAN systems. Though the 90’s, he built several companies focused on the design and operation of national data and telecommunications systems. He has been recognized
multiple times by EY as Entrepreneur of the Year and several of his businesses have been listed by IU Kelley School of Business as Growth 100 companies.
Miller has written technical and management papers for many publications in his career including LAN Magazine, IEEE, International Telecommunications Union and he has served on boards for COMDEX, SUPERCOM, and CeBIT. Most recently his work has focused on the
research and development of new approaches to innovation management frameworks for economic and organizational growth.

Brian J. McGinnis is a partner, as well as a member of the intellectual property, Internet, data privacy and cybersecurity law, at Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Indianapolis. With his practice focusing on the constantly emerging areas where technological innovation meets our nation’s legal framework, Brian’s status as an expert in the field is bolstered by his Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) designation, one of the world’s leading privacy certification’s for professionals within the field.
